Capable of shooting motion and stills in 8K 2.4:1 at up to 75 frames per second (fps), or 8K Full Format at 60 fps—WEAPON 8K S35 delivers unrivaled performance. WEAPON 8K S35 owners will also be eligible to upgrade to the RED DRAGON® 8K VV™ sensor—when it becomes available.

Blazing-fast 300 MB/s data rates allow you to take advantage of the lowest possible REDCODE®—and record proxy 4K Apple ProRes or 4K Avid DNxHR formats, simultaneously.
As a member of the DSMC2™ camera lineup, WEAPON 8K S35 benefits from the advanced modularity of the RED ecosystem. Featuring cable-free peripherals, integrated mounting plate, wireless control, and compatibility with a growing number of DSMC2 modules and accessories. WEAPON also supports interchangeable OLPFs and lens mounts—empowering you to make the most of all of your S35 compatible PL, Nikon, Canon, and Leica lenses.
NOTE: WEAPON 8K S35 is NOT compatible with 8K VV lens mounts.
NOTE: The WEAPON BRAIN itself does not have a DC IN power port. A port expander or power module is required to power the camera.
