WEAPON supercharges the already blazing fast read/write speeds of the RED MINI-MAG®. The new integrated media bay offers higher bandwidth and unleashes the full potential of RED MINI-MAGs. WEAPON also supports both the Apple ProRes and Avid DNxHR/HD codecs, giving you the freedom to simultaneously record REDCODE RAW and Apple ProRes or Avid DNxHR/HD file formats—at the same time. WEAPON 8K boasts a 35.4 megapixel sensor, giving shooters the freedom to capture 8K 2.4:1 at up to 75 frames per second (fps), and 8K Full Frame at 60 fps. WEAPON 6K uses a 19 megapixel sensor capturing 6K 2.4:1 at up to 100 fps and 6K Full Frame at 75 fps. WEAPON’s enhanced design features a number of enhancements: including automatic black shade calibrations, improved low light sensor performance, and an intelligent OLPF system. WEAPON cameras are also equipped to support 1D and 3D LUTs—giving colorists and post production teams more control than ever before.
